Aromatherapy Trade Council

The Aromatherapy Company is registered as a recommended supplier and manufacturer of aromatherapy products by the Aromatherapy Trade Council (ATC). ATC is a trade association for the specialist aromatherapy essential oil trade, and represent manufactures and suppliers of aromatherapy products as well as the interest of consumers in the United Kingdom.

The Aromatherapy Company is a british manufacturer of a wide range of gorgeous aromatherapy products which are certified organic by the Soil Association Organic. All products supplied on your course are certified organic which is our assurance to you that you are studying with ingredients that are pure, natural and of the highest quality. TAC's ranges include skincare, body care, mummy and baby products, around 80 organic essential oils, hydrolats, bases products and carrier oils.







Criteria

This course is online theory only and does not include any massage or Anatomy and Physiology qualification. We do offer Aromatherapy massage in house at one of approved venues and also we require you to obtain a level 3 Anatomy and Physiology qualification as you will need to understand the effects of essential oils on the body systems in order to be able to mix and blend safely and effectively.

It is also ideal if you have a prior massage qualification and want to add the use of essential oils and related products to your treatments and become a Clinical Aromatherapist.

The course is taught in English and Japanese at present, but we are looking at further development of other languages.

Your Clinical Aromatherapy Qualification

  • This course will provide you with Professional Aromatherapy theory knowledge and practical application training (if you are taking the massage qualification in house).
  • Upon completion of module 4, after passing the assessments, tests and assignments and the theory examination you will gain a diploma as a Clinical Aromatherapist and will be eligible to join IFPA as a full member without massage.
  • This will mean you are qualified to offer aromatherapy advice and blend aromatherapy products such as lotions, creams , hydrolats , gels and oils to clients under consultation.
  • You will be qualified to work as an aromatherapist practitioner in a beauty, natural therapy clinic or set up your own business.
  • Aromatherapy and holistic therapies are fast growing complementary therapies which make this an ideal time to qualify.
  • Aromatherapy treatments are being offered in some NHS practices, hospitals, hospices, complementary health clinics, and private medical clinics.
